mallards

So I woke up this morning with a pleasant surprise in my backyard. Just floating around in my pool was a a pair of Mallard ducks, one male and the other female. I had to wait until it stopped raining to be able to go outside and shoot them, until I scared them off.

moto

Went to opening weekend of Motopark in Williamsford this weekend. There was a couple good riders there, Brent Feeney was ripping it. Would like to thank Carl Bastedo for letting me shoot on the track.

waterfalls

Attempted to try to shoot waterfalls this weekend at, Eugenia Falls and Hoggs Falls. They didn't turn out the best because i forgot my tripod, which is a big mistake when trying to have a long shutter speed. My friend Shane and I came out with something ok though.

I was waiting to head back to London from my parents house and decided to go shoot some pictures of my brother pedal biking around.

kiwanis

I went to the Kiwanis Skateboard Park today for the first time. It was built in the fall of last year. There were a couple really good riders there, Dave Hnatiuk and Colin Findlater.

So, I finally was blessed with my income tax finally coming through, and thought I should treat myself to a lens for my camera. I went to Henry's on Tuesday and got the Nikkor 55-200mm F4 VR. Later that day John Hill & I headed down to a local mini ramp to test it out.

want bmx

This weekend was round #2 of the Want Energy BMX Contest Series at Industry Park in St. Thomas. A couple of my friends were riding so I went down to shoot it. Unfortunately one of my friends, Zeb Dennis, hurt himself in practice, but ended up being judge for the contest. My other two friends, Jeremy Joyce and John Marks rode very well but weren't able to place in the Pro class. Here are some pictures from the event.

darts

Became very bored this evening and tried to capture some magnetic dart action with my friend, Shane. The second picture looks like the dart has hit the board, but if you look closely its still in mid air. It was oh so very close to a bulleyes but only a green, 25.

no snow

Went to my hometown of Markdale this past weekend, and all the snow is finally gone. My friends and I got out the toys and went out atving and dirtbiking. Lee, one of my friends, has a racing atv, a Yamaha YZ-F 450. We went to an old abandoned horse track just outside of down and shot a couple pictures.

supercross

Went to the Monster Energy AMA Supercross Round 10 at Toronto this past weekend. Since I was unable to obtain a media pass for the event, decided to just go early and catch practice to get some pictures. Pulled into the Rogers Centre at about 12:45p.m., just as the 250 Lite riders were starting there first of 3 practices. Check out some of my picture from the even below.
