fireworks

I didn't end up getting up to too much this past weekend for May 2-4, being broke never helps. On Saturday night my friend, Joey, had about 10 of us over to his parents house for beers and fireworks. I brought my GoPro to film some roman candle wars but everyone just ended up shooting me cause I had the camera in my hand. Here is a little edit I put together quickly and a screen shot photo of Codey almost getting taken out. Enjoy!

bud light

Saturday afternoon John, Adam, Codey and I were driving back from Owen Sound, where John got a fresh new haircut, and we stopped in at 6 & 10 Mini Mart in Chatsworth. As John and Adam went into the store, two Bud Light girls came from around the back of the Exploder, as Codey yelled at them they came over. We all got free pair of Bud Light sunglasses which are pretty actually, decent sunglasses. Here are two "commercial photos" of the glasses. Enjoy and thanks again girls!

Yesterday we had on and off weather all day till about 4p.m. when it got really nice out. Been playing around with the pictures that the GoPro can take, using the time lapse setting. Here are two photos, one is a foundation that they just finished beside my house and are going put an equality home on top, and the other picture is just Adam and I cruising the streets of Markdale. lil' fishing

Did a little bit of fishing this week around the Grey County area. Adam, Joey, and I hit up a couple local stream and Eugenia Lake. Here are a couple pictures of the dam at the lake, messing around with depth of field a bit, and a picture of the big double kink. Also a short minute video of a speckled trout I caught, I released him as he was only a little guy. Enjoy!

The other day Adam, John and I went and shot of a couple golf balls at the school. After about half hour of hitting them down field, I had the idea to do a sand trap shot and slow motion it down afterwards. Here is Adam's best sand trap swing and John playing on the swings in the background. Enjoy!

skate session

Last weekend John, Shane and I went to the Port Elgin Skatepark for the first skate session of the year. The weather was beautiful and there wasn't an abundance of little kids riding around. As John and Shane were just getting back into the feel of things I brought my GoPro and did a little filming. Here's a little edit I put together with the footage. Enjoy!

diy dolly

Since I got my Go-Pro I've been doing a fair bit of filming, trying different angles and ways to make motion with the camera. I built a DIY dolly the other day and tried it out at the Thornbury Skatepark, works fairly well but needs to be about twice or three times longer. Here is a picture of my first attempt at a DIY dolly.

mother's day motocross

What a great day it was out at Motopark on Mother's Day, blue skies for miles and no clouds in sight. It was CMRC's first race of the year at Motopark on Sunday, so Cadence and I went and shot the races. With a pretty good turn out for so early in the year, about 300 riders came out for the race.
